Christi Matthys, APR

Christi joined Three Box as an Associate in 2008 and now leads all aspects of agency operations – from finance and IT to agency development and human resources – as Vice President of Operations.

Prior to transitioning to operations in 2018, Christi served as Director of Account Service, creating and executing strategic communications campaigns for a variety of clients, including ALON/7-Eleven, Domino’s, The Shops at Willow Bend and Irving Flood Control District Section III. Her specializations included media relations, experiential marketing, thought leadership and community relations. 

Before joining Three Box, Christi worked at Rx Mosaic Health, a health care PR agency in New York City, working with pharmaceutical brands, including LUNESTA® and Retin-A Micro®. She also spent a summer interning in the newsroom at KETK NBC 56 in Tyler, Texas, where she produced stories for the evening newscasts.

Christi graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University, where she received her bachelor’s in public relations with a minor in general business. A Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) member since she entered the profession, Christi has served as treasurer, secretary and vice president of the Dallas chapter. In 2015, she also joined the 5% of PR professionals that are Accredited in Public Relations (APR).
